Timothy Hodor | Visual Arts
Here, like in his music, he experiments, captivates, and tests his boundaries… with striking color combinations, geometry, nature, wildlife, and outerspace—all this by applying varieties of paint, scores of tools, often in a single work. “The aim for the viewer is not to contemplate on the technique, but to challenge his/her eyes long enough to reach the soul of the painting to come to fresh sights and insights.“ His sculptures are of a paleontological scope: shell-like formations, reptilean renderings with wings, fins, and claws. Drawing is the area in which he incorporates the human being. He has been prolific in this visual arts area since 2013, creating some 300 works.
